With a little bit of watercoloring and a little bit of glimmer paper, you can create a little magic with the Mistletoe Magic Bundle!
Not only is this card quick and easy to make, it lays flat and is light weight to send for the holidays. No extra postage needed for bumps, too!
Quick and Easy Watercoloring Tips:
- Stamp the mistletoe branch with the Pear Pizzazz Ink on the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
- Fill the small brush from the set of Water Painters with water and use on the entire image, all but the berries, to create light green leaves. The ink is water based, so by adding water to it, the ink will flow into the space.
- Once you have covered all the leaves with water, dip the tip of the Water Painter brush into the corner of the Pear Pizzazz ink pad and use this to add a darker green to one side of the leaves and the branches.
- Once you have finished coloring the leaves, cut out the image with the mistletoe die.
- Add Wink of Stella to give the berries a little glimmer.
- Add the Red Glitter bow – also made with a die in the set.
You can have a simple branch or add a layer of pretty leaves cut out of the Vellum Cardstock. ⬇️ You can make your bunch of mistletoe as full as you like just by adding more branches.
The Red Glitter Paper behind the stitched circle, was first punched out with the Decorative Circle Punch, then, cut in half. Make sure to use liquid glue for the Glitter Paper! Most tape adhesives won’t hold onto the glitter paper.
