Today’s project includes lots of beautiful Fall color.
So… dig out your Stampin’ Write Markers, a little sponge dauber and get creating!
Stampin’ Tips to create those beautiful Fall Leaves:
Start at the base of the large leaf with the lightest Stampin’ Write Marker; apply color to the stamp using the side of the brush tip marker – Crushed Curry (plus seedlings), Mango Melody & Pumpkin Pie
Next, add a little Old Olive to the base of the leaf, seedlings and stems.
Lastly, use the edge of the Cajun Craze marker to add a tiny touch of color to just the edge of the large leaf.
Now to blend the colors. This step is key to getting the flow of colors! Without this step, the colors will appear as stripes on the paper. So… take out your sponge dauber… start between the Crushed Curry and Mango Melody (lightest colors), pounce lightly across the stamp. Now, move to the next line of colors … between Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie. Now, pounce lightly on the Old Olive then Cajun Craze. Now… Huff a little on your stamp to add a little moisture to the ink and STAMP! Wha La! 🍁 (p.s. please do not try this with the Stampin’ Blends Markers! They will stain your stamps and the ink will dry on the stamp.)
Use the largest Circle Die in the Stylish Shapes Die set to cut out the image. I Love the dotty stitching on these dies. They are easy to use and the paper releases from the die quickly.
Use the sponge dauber to sweep the edge of the circle to add a bit of color. Now you’re ready to add the circle to your embossed layer of leaves.
We have amazingly beautiful colors to play with. These are the colors that were used on today’s projects. The Stampin’ Markers are sold in sets of 10, by color groupings. Click on any of these colors (click on the name) to see all the coordinating products that we have:
The Soft Seedlings Stamp Set is a great set to use for any of your Fall projects. It has simple images to play with and a fantastic variety of sayings.
Another beautiful sample made by our talented Stampin’ Up! designers. So quick and easy to make!
One last look at today’s projects 😍 I Love the new Leaf Fall 3D Folder for the background and the little embellishment was made with cotton ribbons that can easily be frayed on the edges.
I hope you take time to dig out your brush tip markers to play with a the colors and practice blending them together.
Enjoy the colors and smells of Fall 🍁
Happy Stampin’!
