Bringing some sweet, glittery rainbow ice cream cards to you today.
These yummy cards were made with the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle along with the fun, rainbow glimmer paper, a slice of vellum and a layer of the Ombre Paper from Sale-a-Bration.
To create the dots background I used the Stamparatus and dropped down a hinge each time I wanted to stamp a new line. Using the Stamparatus is a great way to keep your lines straight and evenly spaced. The Dots can be found in the Borders To Backgounds stamp set in the 2021 January – June Mini Catalog ( only available through June).
Oh My Goodness… I wish you could see how fun the rainbow glimmer paper is that is used to make the ice cream. To make them, I cut down the Glimmer paper in 1 1/2″ strips before I fed them into the Ice Cream Builder Punch. Choose your own flavors and layer up your cone.
I also played with different dies to create the different vellum layers on these two cards ⬇️. The vellum layers were created with dies from Ornate Layers Dies and the Hippo and Friends Dies. Also, to get the Happy Birthday top layer on these, I fussy cut the saying out.
Ohhhh… and one more little stamping tip… Use your Stampin’ Blends on any of our Enamel Dots to coordinate them with your cardstock. For these I used the Dark Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend to color some enamel dots that I had. Or you could choose the In-Color Enamel dots shown in the Ingredients section, below, and your dots will already match!
