Spring has sprung and its a great time to send a cheery note to someone.
Today’s cards are so easy to create with just a basic black ink pad and a little splash of color.
How do I pick my colors? For today’s cards, I wanted to use the Ovals Occasions stamp set with the Just Jade Gingham ribbon, so I started with those. The Oval Occasions stamp set is paired with the Double Oval Punch, in a bundle, but, the punch isn’t available until the end of March, so, I used the cute scalloped rectangles from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set to make these cards.
I absolutely Love that all of our products coordinate. For these cards I pulled the Just Jade cardstock, Flowers for Every Season papers, Gingham ribbon and Stampin’ Blends. Both the tiny dot paper and the flowers are from the Flowers for Every Season DSP pack. For the Yellows, I used a combination of So Saffron and Mango Melody. The Light Flirty Flamingo is used to add just a touch of color to the ears and the Gray Granite is used for just a hint of shading.
If you want to add a saying to the front of your card. The Oval Occasions stamp set has some cute options. For this card I used the Itty Bitty Greetings set, which has a saying for almost every occasion. The flower corner image on this card is found in the Oval Occasions stamp set and the ‘sending prayers’ is found in the Itty Bitty Greetings set (this set is being retired!!!).

Created with the 2020-2022 In Colors, it’s easy to find coordinating papers to whip up quick and easy cards. For these cards ⬇️ I used papers from the Flowers for Every Seasons DSP pack. These papers are being discontinued and are on sale!!! $11.50 on sale for $6.90
For the Misty Moonlight card, I used papers from the Dandy Garden DSP pack. The Misty Moonlight twine is from the same pack as the Just Jade Gingham ribbon: Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
