So the original due date for our first grand child was on, October 22nd, our 32nd Anniversary ❤️.
Since the baby decided to wait another week to see the world, I thought I would insert a blog sharing the Anniversary card I made for my Hubby (before I share the baby card).
These are typically one-of-a-kind cards that never make an appearance on my blog, but I wanted to share this one because I know how hard it is to come up with guy cards. Just swap out the sentiment and you could use this for any occasion. I just love how it turned out and there are a couple little tips that I wanted to share.
I didn’t have the co-ordinating color twine or enamel dots, so I used the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends to color the linen thread, In-Color Enamel Dots and the clear Enamel Heart from last year’s catalog. Also, the ‘Happy Anniversary’ comes from the retired ‘To Have & To Hold’ stamp set.
You can basically duplicate this card with any sheet from our Plaid Tidings Papers.
Just pick a sheet, pull out your three favorite colors, and cut your leaves to match.
