Fall is definitely my favorite color! Today’s project was so easy to put together by using the beautiful Gilded Autumn Designer Papers along with the Gather Together Bundle.
I love how the Gilded Autumn paper is designed to use with the Autumn Punch Pack! I threw a couple sheets into a bag with the punches while we took a short trip earlier in September. Now I just need to use the foiled leaves and acorns on a project! They are all so pretty!
It’s so easy to create two cards with one piece of cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The dies have a double edge, so when you cut out your rectangle, you have a stitched frame left on the original piece of cardstock. There is no waste on the Cajun Craze top layer of these cards.
For the ribbon accent, I cut my ribbon in half, to create two narrow pieces. By cutting it, it frays naturally and leaves a tattered look which is perfect for each of these cards.
Distressing tip 101: To add texture to the large maple leaf on this card, I simply bent it, like into a ball and then opened it up and glued it down. Yes, it was That easy!
On the insides of these cards I stamped Happy Birthday from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. Perfect for a Fall celebration!
