Have you been seeing alot of greenery this season? I love the fresh feel and look of all of the greens in our new Forever Fern Bundle. I wanted to try a soft, subtle look and the papers in the In Good Taste DSP pack look amazing with this card.
Who knew that Soft Sea Foam and Blushing Bride could make such pretty greenery?
I wanted to add a little vellum layer between the sprigs. When I think of ‘ferns’ I think of ‘pine boughs’. We spend quite a bit of time in the North Woods of Wisconsin and ferns and pines are the natural landscape, so, I thought it was a perfect combination. What do you think?

All you need is liquid glue to adhere all the pieces. I like to let my pieces sit for a bit to let the glue dry just a smidgen so the pieces don’t slide around and leave glue marks on your card. I sponged the greens. You don’t need much of the glue to stick!
Here is another look for this layout. This is using our new In-Color – Just Jade as the base with Mink Macaron for the top sprig. 😍 I love how the pine bough shows up more with this one. This could easily be sent in Fall or Winter especially with the warm look of the paper. I am still struggling with capturing the true beauty of certain colors in my photos. This card is so much prettier in real life.
