Petite Posy Card

Do you ever get a set of stamps and wonder what you are to do with certain images? The tiny posies in the Ornate Style stamp set was that stamp for me this time. I like to challenge myself to be creative with the random stamps and I actually really like how this one turned out. What do you think?

Ok. So I’m a bit obsessed with the gold foiled paper vases made from the new Ornate Garden paper. The ornate designs fit so perfect into the vase punch.

To make this beautiful bouquet, I stamped the posies three times. Stamp one on the base card layer and two more on the whisper white scrap to color and fussy cut.

After I cut them out, I felt the need to add a little texture to the flowers. One layer (the middle layer) I ran through the Ornate Floral 3D Folder. I turned the other two pieces over and used my stylist tip on the Take Your Pick tool to softly rub the flowers on the foam Piercing mat . You can see the yellow dots on the back of the cardstock where the centers of the flowers are, so it’s easy to see where to rub.

I layered the flowers with mini dimensionals to give more texture. Hopefully this closeup will show the different layers a little better.
