Simple Daisy Card

Have you figured out how much I Love the Ornate Garden Suite, yet?

Ok… I guess it’s not the most ‘Simple’ card, but isn’t it pretty?

When I started playing with this single daisy from the Ornate Style stamp set, I didn’t quite like how it was just sitting in the air. Que… to pull out our Vases Builder Punch! Look how cute that short vase turned out using the Gold Foiled Ornate Garden DSP.

Black or Gold??? My first attempt at this card was simple, using the black ink to stamp everything, BUT, once I added the Gold Foiled vase, I had to do a little extra gold embossing! Which one do you like? The black is quite striking, but the gold really gives it a gorgeous look.

This is the Ornate Style Bundle in the Ornate Garden Suite. I am a bit obsessed with frame dies, so I needed to have this set right away! I will say that with all the tiny holes and delicate cuts, it is almost essential to have the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip to clean out the dies after every cut.

The sentiment that I used comes from the Ornate Thanks stamp set. Also found in the Ornate Garden Suite.

If you want to make this card, you could also use most sentiments in the Itty Bitty Greetings set. This is perfect for many situations. Tip: give the top layer a lift with some dimensionals.
