Ornate Garden Posy Card

Today’s card has a fun fold with a layer of pretty vellum to go with the pretty posies.

Happy mail is fun, but why not make a fun fold to make it happier?

This card has a few more steps to complete, so I thought a little video would help you put this together. My videos are unedited and a little entertaining. Here are a couple corrections to what I say in this video: 1. All of the papers in the Ornate Garden pack are double sided, what I meant to say is “some of the papers are double sided with Gold Foil accents on one side”. 2. I am using Gilded Gems, not Gilded Gold Embezzlements… LOL!! But today Embezzlements Is a word!

This was the third project for my April Mystery Hostess Party. What this picture is missing is a strip of 9 Gilded Gems! If you placed a qualifying order in April you will receive 3 Stampin’ Kits to make 6 cards using the Ornate Garden Suite. Card parts dimensions:

Whisper White cardstock: 2″ x 5″ to cut detailed frame; 1″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/2″ strip to back the vellum and tuck behind the Terracotta Tile stock; and 3″ x 3″ insert for sentiment.

Pear Pizzazz Base Card: 4 1/4″ x 9 3/4″ , score at 5 1/2″

Terracotta Tile Cardstock, insert: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Petal Pink Vellum: 2″ x 5″

Posie Print: 4″ x 4″

Tile Print: 3/4″ x 3 5/8″

Terracotta Tile Ribbon: 9 1/2″

Don’t forget a sprinkle of Gilded Gems ✨

If you are concerned that the Gilded Gems are too bumpy to mail, you can either go without or add a piece of cardstock to your envelope to cover them and add an extra postage stamp to cover the ‘Bump’.
