I couldn’t decide what paper to play with first from our new Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Daisies won.
For my classes I like to offer an Easy Peasy project. This is ‘That’ project for April. Check out my April Mystery Hostess Party to see how you can get the April project kits.
Oh My Goodness!!! Daisies and Posies and Gold Oh My!!! This is the full set of the Gorgeous Ornate Garden Paper. It’s included in the new Ornate Garden Suite available now through May and will be in our new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
Creating Tip #1:
To add the ribbon behind the scalloped rectangle, use adhesive of choice, lay ribbon back and forth then add more adhesive to hold in place and attach to card.
Creating Tip #2:
Use the Subtle Embossing Folder to add texture to the center of the daisy. I used a 1/4″ circle punch to fit perfectly in the center of the flower. It’s all in the details.

The second Project Kit you will receive with a $25 April order:
We are not allowed to stamp images for kits, so you will need to provide the sentiment for these cards. Steps you need to do to assemble your card:
Score your base card at 4 1/4″ and fold in half.
Use your adhesive of choice to adhere the Daisy paper to the Early Espresso and then both to the card.
Stamp your sentiment with Early Espresso (or color of choice) on Scalloped Rectangle. You need to stamp before you add ribbon to back so you have a smooth stamping surface.
Follow the instructions above to adhere the Old Olive Ribbon to the back of the Scalloped Rectangle. Add to card.
Use mini Glue Dots to assemble the Daisies together. Add to card with extra Glue Dots.
Wha La!

The scalloped rectangle is big enough for many sentiments. I love how the THANKS fits from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, too.
