I have been busy here in my crafting cave. I decided to do something a little different with the recent request to wear face masks.
Do you remember when Stampin’ Up! offered designer fabric??? These were very popular back in 2011-2013. The pretty prints that I used for these masks was called Twitterpated and was first offered in our 2012 Occasions mini catalog. I hadn’t bought many fabrics because I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to use them. So I dug them out and decided to make some cute masks. If you have any of these boxes of fabric, you can get three masks out of each sheet of fabric if you use the pattern for the 8″ x 14″ (folded in half), pleated mask.
I needed to send two of the pretty flowered ones out before the next picture. But they all turned out super cute. Each using the coordinating fabric for the side trim. And check out the beautiful ribbon. This came on 15 yard rolls. You may have some of that in your inventory, too. 😉
FYI – if you need a mask pattern, search for Face Masks in Pinterest(that’s where I found mine) or go to JoAnn Fabric’s link here -> JoAnn’s Face Masks
Or you can also make one ‘no-sew’ mask with each piece of fabric. This fabric pack was called Spice Cake. For the elastic on these, I used elastic hair ties. ( quite the plentiful supply here, after having three girls in the house).
