Oh how I Love this sweet card! Did you know that when coordinating products are introduced you can save by purchasing them as a bundle? This is one of those bundles, and time is running out on the ‘bundle’ price. Get your’s before June 3rd and enjoy the savings.
Stampin’ Tip for incorporating vellum into your projects: For today’s cards I used a layer of vellum cardstock between the cake and scalloped circle. It’s always tricky to hide the adhesive when attaching vellum. For this project, I attached the cake and cake plate with mini dimensionals to the vellum circle. I added liquid glue to the back of the vellum circle, only in the area behind the cake, and Wha La! it attached to the card beautifully. 😍
I created this card with our daughter, Kayla, in mind. (inspired by my Insta friend Kerry) Kayla loves to bake and cook, so a cake card was perfect for her 26th birthday in Memphis. I chose the polka-dot card to take to her 💌.
We love to explore murals as we travel to visit our daughters. I had to crop this a bit, but I love the silhouette of my hubby taking the picture. 😉 Have you seen this mural in Memphis yet?
