Tennessee Vols Birthday Card

Made this for our favorite Tennessee Volunteer last week!  (if you know UT ‘you know’) Love Love Love how it turned out! 🧡

I used the Eclipse method with the Pumpkin Pie cardstock as the base card color.  The Eclipse effect is created simply by raising the large letters above a darker cardstock. 😍  The Foam Adhesive Strips work great with the letters for this!

Little stampin’ tip:  Use the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker to separate the ‘Birth’ & ‘Day’ to stamp on the ‘B’ & ‘D’.  You can find this color in the Regals set of Markers.  I also used the marker to draw basketball lines on the exclamation point! 🏀

Perfect timing for March Madness, too, as one of our favorite teams head into tournament time! 🏀 Go Vols!

This says it all!!!  We actually drove this card to Knoxville to hand deliver it to our Heidi.  And boy, was she Surprised!!!  ✔️  (put a few miles on our car that weekend… 1485.6 to be exact!)

Managed to get this pic with her Dad.  This will be known as the last time we ‘dropped her off at school’ as she will be finishing up this Summer in the MAcc program.
