Today’s cards are made by fussy cutting the large butterflies from the first sheet shown above. Several sheets are designed to use with our Butterfly Duet Punch, available April 1st! (yes, due to popularity it is currently sold out). Don’t wait around for this paper… only available through March, 2019. You can always add the punch – available through June.
Give the wings a gentle curve with the bone folder and attach with two glue dots.
How do I get the white sentiment? I heat embossed on basic black cardstock before cutting out with the beautiful detailed die. A few steps to create this: 1) Use Embossing Buddy to just wipe off any moisture that may be on the cardstock. 2) Use Versa Mark ink pad to stamp sentiment on cardstock. 3) Add White embossing powder to sentiment, always tapping off excess powder, and saving unused powder into the container. 4) Heat powdered sentiment until shiny smooth. 5) Cut out sentiment with die or punch of choice.

The frame used for the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies ($30). The last little detail added to these cards is adding a little glimmer to the wings with the Wink of Stella. A clear Glitter Brush. I wish the pics could show the beauty of this little bit of Glimmer.
