Ranunuculus – aka those gorgeous, popular roses, that everyone has fallen in love with❤️ Who knew?
Have you ever purchased any beautiful printed paper that you were afraid to cut? This is one of those packs of pretty paper that I have been so hesitant with, but, Yes! I cut my paper!!! If you own the Petal Promenade DSP from Stampin’ Up! you know exactly what I mean.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to photograph this card to show the true beauty of the copper foil and glimmer paper that I used. This almost looks like gold to me. It really is a stunning card with all of it’s copper accents.
Couple stamping tips:
To create the ‘Birthday’ element: I masked the Birthday sentiment from Perennial Birthday stamp set. Meaning I put a post-it over ‘Happy’ on the stamp; inked it up with the Versa Mark ink pad; removed the post-it; then stamped on the paper. This keeps the ‘Happy’ clean of ink. After I stamped it, I dipped it into my Copper embossing powder; tapped off the excess powder and heat.
To create the Happy: I used the Copper Glimmer paper that we had available in our 2018 Holiday Catalog (sorry). Before running it through the Big Shot with the Happy Die, I added the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the glimmer paper. This creates a sticker so you don’t need to worry about applying glue to the delicate design of the ‘Happy’.
