I love traditions, and growing up one of the traditions present at our Thanksgiving table was a little treat cup placed at the corner of our place setting. Even though it was just a little cupcake paper cup, it is one of those special memories. Through my classes, I have been introducing and encouraging this tradition to other families with a bit more Fun.
This year, with our new Petite Treat Framelits, there will be some fun turkeys on our table, filled with lots of goodies.
P.S. We made these in our October classes, before Halloween. My tip to everyone, was, pick up the corn and pumpkins now! OR wait until the day after Halloween for a little discount. But there are always lots of goodies to put in these, even if you can’t find the corn and pumpkins. Assorted nuts is always a good one, along with chocolate covered anything, dinner mints, or any little sentimental treats.
These were so easy to make with the feather stamp from the Making Every Day Bright set, the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch and Mini Glue Dots. The Gobbler… is made with the Fox Builder Punch! Check out all the ingredients below.
To cover the bottoms of the feathers, I pulled out a stamp from 1996!!! and my old scalloped oval punch. ( love my archives) Always love this saying for Thanksgiving 🧡
How about another idea??? This is from our table last year, in 2017. I used our popcorn framelits and a couple punches to create this gem.
