I have to confess… these stamps and dies were not on the top of my list, but now that I have played with the parts and pieces, I LOVE THEM! These cards were so easy to put together! Scroll down to see how easy it really is…
Lets start by creating the aged barn wood … These pics were created with scraps used for a different project (stay tuned for that 😉 ) The Real Red cardstock used for these cards measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Step #1 (not pictured) – Tap an Early Espresso ink pad onto the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder…
Paper towel or paper napkin work great for blotting.
Run through Big Shot… and Wha La…

Stampin’ Tip to create top rail, rolling hinges and door handle. The best way to adhere these small pieces is to use our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. I used strips of Basic Black cardstock with strips of the Adhesive applied Before the dies are run thru the Big Shot. Once they are cut out, I use a Paper-Piercing tool to remove the adhesive back. This makes things so Easy Peasy!!!
Our Mini Dimensionals fit perfectly under the wreath!!! So I used them to lift the door off the paper, too.
Love this simple ‘hello’ sign, included in the Barn Door stamp set. I used the Real Red and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers to create the two colored images of the wreath and sign. You can find these markers in sets of 10 or the full set of 40 colors shown below.
