I am a huge collector of alphabet sets and this one is now at the top of my Must Haves! Not only does it have double letters for the most common words, but I Love the little personalized sayings that you can put on the back of all of your cards!
So, of course, the one double letter I needed for this card was a ‘p‘… I simply took the ‘d’ and flipped it around to use as a ‘p’ … Wha La! (And the lucky person to receive this would never know.) I also placed the ‘a’ on it’s own little block to use in both words…
I used Watercolor paper for my top layer of this card. I Love the texture of this paper!!! And for coloring, I used the Stampin’ Blends on everything except the green wash below the grass (I used Mossy Meadow ink to coordinate with the green layer). I used the light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends for the sky. You can see some streaking, but for the most part, I love how the light marker flows onto the watercolor paper for this, with a little help of the Color Lifter.
Isn’t this a fun size? This card is 4 1/4″ x 3 5/8″ . It turned out super cute!

I never liked to color my images with markers, but I sure am a fan of the Stampin’ Blends!! You did a great job on these cards.

Thanks Cindy. I really have fallen in love with how the Stampin’ Blends flow onto any paper.
