Oh My Goodness!!! Whoever dreamed up this card design… I Love you ❣
I just had to CASE it and share with my classes in April before the adorable saying in the Fruit Basket Stamp set was retired along with the fun apples from the Tutti -frutti DSP!
If you missed the Tutti-frutti suite … no worries… check out this new, adorable set of stamps that would work perfect to create this card… ‘Treat Time’. Any of these sayings would fit perfectly in the bottom right corner of this card.
To create the pie, first use the largest scalloped circle die and the largest stitched circle die, cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock. Sponge the edge of the Scalloped Circle with Crumb Cake ink.
My favorite part of this pie is the top created with the Basket Weave 3-D Embossing Folder.
To add a little depth to the Basket Weave design, I sponged the folder with Crumb Cake before I ran my paper through.
Then… a little extra tip… I used two mini dimensionals (stacked) in the middle of the pie, and then added 4 to 5 more around the center … I love these little pop dots!!! Plus when the pie is done, it feels like apples! Tee – Hee!!! Keep the dimensionals at least 1/2″ from the edge of the pie. Use liquid glue around the edge of the pie to adhere to the scalloped circle.
