Welcome to Day 3 of sharing cards I made with the Color Me Happy Project Kit. Crazy fact… I created these cards in a hotel room during an unexpected road trip. I basically grabbed this kit , a couple stamp sets, adhesive, the Tuxedo Black Momento pad and my Stampin’ Blends. Today’s cards were created using the new Petal Palette stamp set with the new Stampin’ Blends.
For all three of today’s cardsI used four markers on the flowers. For example… on these first two cards I started with the light and dark Rich Razzleberry to color in the flowers. Next, I used the Color Lifter to lighten up random petals. On those petals I used the light Pink Pirouette to pull in the color of the sentiment strip and envelope.
For today’s cards I stamped on the white triangle cardstock. A piece pre-cut to fit on the larger cards included in the kit.
For this card I used the same technique with four Stampin’ Blends. I started with the light and dark Night of Navy to color in the flowers. Next, I used the Color Lifter to lighten up random petals. On those petals I used the light Pool Party to pull in the color of the sentiment strip and envelope.
The stamps used to create all of the cards come from the new Petal Palette stamp set found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.
