This was my first attempt to use our Quilt Builder Framelits Dies🍁 My sister is an amazing quilter, so when I saw our new Christmas Quilt Bundle, I just had to have it to create a special card for her 60th! Happy Belated Birthday Amy ( I think she liked it 😉 )! Not to mention … these are some of her favorite colors!
With our Designer Series Papers, the colors are all coordinated for you. Just pick a pack and the designs and colors are ready for quilting! Each pack of paper, also, has the list of colors on the label, making it easy to grab the coordinating cardstock. Love this!
We are having a SALE on many of our DSPs!!! Click on this link to download the flyer (the Painted Autumn DSP is used on this card):

For making this card…. I cut five quilt squares out of the different papers needed to create this card. Cool thing is… now that I have all five sets, I can create different cards! Stay tuned.. I will post those in the near future.
With the cardstock I ran three strips of our Tear & Tape adhesive on the back of the cardstock Before I ran it thru the Big Shot. This really helped when placing the pieces. For the rest of the DSP I used SNAIL adhesive.
After the stamping and paper pieces were all in place, I used our new Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I will tell you that the first time I ran it thru, the sides of the card around the quilt square, did not emboss as deep. I then lined it back into the folder and placed two strips of cardstock on top of the folder, and ran it thru the Big Shot again.
Love It!!!
