I participated in a New Catalog Swap this Summer and this was my swap card 🌹❣️
I Love All of the new products used to create this card, including the Happiest of Days stamp set, the beautiful 3D Layered Leaves embossing folder, the elegant 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and the beautiful, new 2017-2019 In-Color – Berry Burst❤️
The large rose image in the Happiest of Days set fits perfectly into the ends of the Lots of Labels Framelits die cut. Check out how I did that layer…
I started by digging out my good ol’ bleach tray… using an old, plastic stamp case and layers of felt… Just pour a little bleach on the felt, and Wha La… This is my stamp pad!
No.1 tip here… Make sure your bleach is FRESH! Bleach that has sat on your shelf may not work as well. I have found that the ‘gel’ style bleach works amazing!!!
Stamp 1st rose…
Add Mask!…
And there you have it! … let the magic begin! This image is JUST stamped… let sit for a bit and the Roses will ‘bloom’❣️… again… the fresher the bleach, the faster the ‘blooms’ 😉
This is a fun technique to try on any cardstock… before you plan your full card, test a sample of colored cardstock to see what color the bleached area will be. For example, these roses turned a beautiful, vintage ivory, so, I used our Very Vanilla as the base card. Combined with the Whisper White, on this card, gives it an elegant touch.
Hope you like today’s creation. Check out all the ingredients I used to create this beauty here: Click on any item for a closer look or to start shopping…
