It’s true! Everyone gets Free Paper!!!
Tax Time got you down??? I actually get excited this time of year!!! Tax time means Lots of fun Free Paper coming to my mailbox. With three girls in different colleges and all of them working different jobs, we have lots of statements coming in. Do you see a full shoe box of these papers??? Yes! I have been selectively collecting for 20 years. One of my favorite designs lately came in the Discover Card Debt Eraser envelope! Junk mail to some… Fun Free Paper to me!!!
When I have a project in mind, I just shave off the sides of the envelopes to reveal the true beauty of whats inside! You Must take a peak at your mail! You may even find some neat prints in other colors. A popular color is also a pretty blue to match our Pacific Point cardstock and ink.
First of all… I have to give credit to Carla Bosselaar for inspiring me with this card design. Thanks, Carla! What a quick, simple design to use with any printed paper.
With our many saying sets, you can add any type of saying to this card. You can also add any color by using this method below!
I Love our sponge daubers(#133773)!!! Just tap the ink pad to pick up color and apply to the paper with one of these fun little ‘tools’. This is just one of the many techniques you can do with the daubers. They have a hole on one end to put your finger into, too. Pretty handy little ‘tools’ to have on hand. You get a pack of 5 daubers for $5. To re-use them, just rinse out in the sink.
Did you notice all the black butterflies on the cards above? I cut them out of the center of a piece used on this card and then cut a separate butterfly out of Bermuda Bay stock to fit into the open space. Love this technique! Use a little liquid glue just along the body of the butterfly and the wings will lift beautifully.
