I love this set with it’s coordinating Tree Builder punch(#138295)! It’s not only a set that you can use for any season or for any occasion, but the purchase of this set helps make a difference. Buy the Sprinkles of Life (#139971) stamp set and Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
For this card, let me show you how to make a bigger base for your cupcake! Because it’s just better to have more Cake!!! Since I haven’t started making videos, I hope you like all the step-by-step pics 🙂
Start by stamping the cupcake on a piece of cardstock, then cut it out rather than using the tree builder punch. This will give you a taller, bigger cupcake!
Turn it over before covering the piece with washi tape. The tape is a little transparent so if you tape over the stamped image, you will see it thru the tape.
After you cover the piece with tape, pull out your trusty crimper and run it thru!!!
Oh the fun you can have with the whole pack of Cherry on Top Designer Washi Tape (#138384).
Time to add frosting!!! By using our water base inks you can easily use a little water to blend out the lines. Use a mask to stamp some sprinkles on the frosting. When done stamping, water coloring, and adding sprinkles, use the Tree Builder punch to punch out the two layers of frosting. Yum!!!
By using the photopolymer stamps, it’s easy to use multiple stamps on one clear block. Here I used the numbers from the Larger Than Life Alphabet & Numbers (#135382) and the ‘th’ from the Project Life Day-to-Day (#135785) sets to create any age for the card.
Oh the fun and smiles you can send!!! Just think of the options… (can you guess how old our girls will be this year???)
