It was a Big 75th Birthday Celebration for this special lady last weekend! Happy Birthday to my Mother-in-law, Carla 🙂
The Number of Years (#140653) set of stamps and the Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622) helped making this card a snap! (Don’t forget… Bundle them and Save 15%) 😉 I stamped the flowers in this set on Shimmer White Cardstock and used the largest die in the Lots of Labels Framelits set to cut it out for a beautiful base for the numbers and saying. Adding the Tea Lace Paper Doilies was easy with the straight edge left from the die. I also Loved using the Fluttering Embossing Folder for the background of this design.
From this view, you can see the way I adjusted the banner for the shorter ‘HAPPY’ stamp. To do this I scored my paper before and after the saying, to frame it in, then score again, 1/4″ out. Fold the score lines to create a 3D banner image. I also used the White Jute Ribbon for the fun accent added to the top left and bottom right corners of the card. This is an 1.25″ ribbon. Just cut a length of the ribbon, cut up a length of the ribbon and gently pull off the strings to use individually. I Love the texture of this ribbon!!! It’s easy to use at all different widths.

Thanks Renee! It was actually the first set I picked out of the Occasions Catty. I have a thing for Numbers and Letters. I am hoping SU! will offer a letters set like this in the 2016-2017 Catty.
